Screening Stress
movies I've watched this July:
One form of escapism that I normally seek is watching movies.
There are a LOt of stuff you can do WHILE enjoying the screenplay -- you can sit comfortably (you may even lie if you're at home of course, or any other position that suits your mood), munch chichirya and drink mango juice, text while watching, think about the next scene (I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks about the "expected" sequence of events in a film), envy the clothes of the teen stars, ponder whether the film has a "right" blend of the cast, imagine the expenses of the producer, relate the stories to my own, memorize catchy lines from the actors, dream about the day when I will be going to the setting of the scenes, cry with a "valid" reason, reminisce about the days gone by, enter a new world which consists of the plot itself and me as the sole "judge" of the movie.
Whew!I really Loove movies.
I guess the result of the "rate of stress test" (I just invented the term) which proved that I'm SO STRESSED at the moment coincides with the number of movies I have watched this month. (Note: I have not included a bunch of movies in the list either because I've forgotten I've watched them this month or I have not finished watching them
I hope my stress rate will go down.
